LinkedIn integration on this site

The Biofuels Wiki has integrated some functionality with the professional networking site, LinkedIn. By creating or adding content on this site, not only will readers and visitors benefit from the knowledge and experience of the contributor, but that contribution can be leveraged to enhance the professional profile of that individual. Professionals can use the Biofuels Wiki to illustrate their subject-matter expertise through the actual content as well as by posting an update to their LinkedIn profile after they have created or edited a page on this site.

How to use LinkedIn with your Biofuels Wiki content

All contributors who wish to create new content or edit a page must be a registered user on this site. That way, any page a user creates or edits is associated with their profile. On each registered user's profile there is the option to associate it with their LinkedIn profile.

To use the LinkedIn functionality, contributors must turn on the LinkedIn radio button when registering on this site and paste the URL to their LinkedIn profile into the field below. That will enable the Biofuels Wiki to associate page content by a contributor with their LinkedIn profile. After creating or editing a page, a contributor should click on the LinkedIn button at the top left hand side of the page. It will open a new window in LinkedIn Updates where a contributor can post a message about their Biofuels Wiki contribution. When you click on the link, it will prompt you to login and take you directly to Post to Updates on your profile.

If a Biofuels Wiki user was a contributor first to this site before setting up their LinkedIn account, they can edit their profile and add it afterwards.
